Lorena Dohm

Lorena "Jeanne" Dohm, 60 a resident of Fort Wayne and wife of Russell E. Dohm, passed away at 3:00 p. m.on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the family residence in Wallen following an extended illness. Mrs. Dohm was born in Fort Wayne on January 17, 1954, a daughter of James Ralph and Eldora Doris (Eagleson) Rigsby, and graduated from Carroll High School in 1972. She had previously worked at the Fort Wayne Marriott, and retired from Richards Restaurant after 20 years. In her leisure time she enjoyed bowling, a variety of arts and crafts, and cooking for family and friends. Most especially she loved and cherished her family. On January 2, 2009 she was married in Fort Wayne to Russell E. Dohm. He survives. Also surviving are her children Jason R. Jones of Fort Wayne, Kayla (Barak) Pauley of Indianapolis, and Clayton Counts of Fort Wayne; four step-children Amy (Tim) Myers of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., Jason (Donna) Dohm of Defiance, Oh., Audrey Tackett of Fort Wayne, and Austin (Christina) Dohm of Satellite City, Fla; two adopted sons Shaun (Heather) Counts of Warsaw and Kevin Bergman of Okinawa, Japan; her mother Eldora Rigsby of Fort Wayne; two brothers Jim (Jean) Rigsby of Troy, Oh., and Dewey (Gayle) Rigsby of Fort Wayne; and 17 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and by a brother Judd Rigsby. Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. on Friday, July 11, 2014, at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco with Pastor Robert Pauley, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3 to 8 p. m., or one hour prior to the service Friday morning. Interment will be in the Eel River Cemetery, Allen County.
