Lou Stahlhut

Lou Ann Stahlhut, 61, of Churubusco, passed away at 6:30 am on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at her home. Lou Ann was born on October 17, 1952 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of Estle and Jean (Keirns) Bailey. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne, and graduated from South Side High School. She enjoyed being at the lake, fishing, camping, and spending time with her family. The surviving relatives include her partner - Bryan K. Hodges of Churubusco; four daughters - Sheri Stahlhut of Churubusco, Tammy Rivera of Fort Wayne, Lisa Stahlhut of Fort Wayne, and Jessica (John) Engle of Churubusco; step-son - Eddie (Ashley) Hodges of Albion; her mother Jean (Keirns) Bailey; two sisters - Coleen (Mike) King and Nancy (Dennis) Husted; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Estle Bailey and sister Janice Worman. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2013. *****************************
