Margaret Joan Davis, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025, in Wabash at 1019 Belle's Place.
She was born on October 4, 1931, to the late Clarence and Bessie Mae (Wells) Moore.
She was united in holy matrimony to Wayne Davis on November 14, 1953, with whom she shared a beautiful life until his passing, on September, 7, 1994.
Margaret was a woman of faith, family, and community. She spent her professional career at the Post & Mail as the Head of Circulation before her retirement. She was a dedicated worker, highly respected for her leadership and commitment.
Margaret was a beloved member of the community. Known for her warm heart and generous spirit, she devoted countless hours volunteering at the local senior center. Socializing and playing Bingo were favorite pastimes, activities that brought joy not only to her but to those around her as well. An active member of her church, Margaret found strength and comfort in her faith. Her life was a living testament of her love for her family, friends, and God.
Margaret is survived by her son, Michael Davis; her brother, Wayne Moore; her sisters, Judy (Harold) Sparrow and Helen Hipshire; and two grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bob Moore, Paul Moore, and Mildred Miller, and her daughter, Pamela Davis.
At Margaret's request there will be no public services.
Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
