Mark F Knepper, 65, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Born in Norman, OK, on August 7, 1954, to the late Maynard and Mary (Bode) Knepper. He spent his formative years in Cincinnati, OH, graduating from high school there. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1976.
After college, Mark was married to Peggy Hobbs. They moved to the area with their son Ryan in 1992. She preceded him in death on December 14, 1999.
Later he was married to Jennifer Bockelman in Fort Wayne on August 20, 2000, she survives.
He worked as an accountant for the City of Fort Wayne since 2004. He previously was employed at Central Soya.
Mark was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Huntertown.
Mark is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jennifer Knepper; a son, Ryan (Jenn) Knepper; a stepdaughter, Karen (Doug) Stier; a stepson, Mike (Denise) Flynn; a brother, Christopher (Kathy) Knepper; a granddaughter, Scarlett Knepper; four step-grandchildren, Jeremy Smith, Jenna (Derrek) Eby, Kanan Flynn and ZZ Flynn.
Services will take place at Resurrection Lutheran Church on Monday, August 3, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 2, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
At this time we do ask that anyone who attends the calling or service wear a mask, also limit your time in the building.
Burial taking place at Riverview Cemetery, Allen County.
