Martha Schlotterback

Martha M. Schlotterback, 80, of Albion, passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2016 at her home in rural Albion. Mrs. Schlotterback was born on January 9, 1936 in Huntington, a daughter of Curtis and Edna (Weise) Lung. She spent her formative years in Albion, and graduated from Albion Jefferson in 1954. On June 12, 1954 she was married in Noble County to Ira "Skip" Schlotterback, and they enjoyed 62 years of marriage. She was employed at Central Noble Schools for more than 30 years. Mrs. Schlotterback attended Merriam Christian Chapel Church. The surviving relatives include three sons, Terry D. (Cary) Schlotterback of Leesburg, Jeffrey D. (Kim) Schlotterback, Timothy L. (Marci) Schlotterback both of Columbia City; a sister, Jean Denton; a brother, Robert (Jan) Lung; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Nina Clark, Evelyn Martin, Carolyn Bortner, and Dawn Rice; a brother Doyle Lung.
