Martin "Joe" Miller, 58, of Churubusco, passed away on June 13, 2025, at his home.
He was born in Fort Wayne on October 3, 1966, to the late Thomas and Helen (Hilt) Miller. He spent his formative years in Fort Wayne and attended Bishop Dwenger before graduating from Northrop High School.
Joe was a beloved husband, father, and friend who touched the lives of those around him with his passion for the outdoors and his dedication to his family. He was married to Kasey Lerch in August 1986. Together, the couple raised three children. His children and grandchildren were his world.
Joe dedicated many years of his life to his work as a Contractor and Landscaper with his company, M.J. Miller Construction, which later evolved into Home Scapes after he added landscaping services. His motto was, " We'll do the work so you don't have to." His love for nature extended beyond his professional life. He spent his free time raising horses, target shooting, and simply being outside, immersing himself in the beauty of nature. Traveling and working on cars were other passions that brought him joy. Martin's zest for life and his love for his family were evident in everything he did.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kasey Miller; their daughter, Adriene Miller; and their two sons, Zach (Kristin) Miller and Luke (Corryna) Miller; two sisters, Amy Rose and Laura (Alan Smith) Miller; five grandchildren, Laila, Riley, Kellan, Breckin, and Bodhi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Miller and Helen Miller Blackburn. Martin's spirit, enthusiasm, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Currently, there are no public services scheduled.
