Mary B. Bojrab, 85, a resident of Eel River Township in Allen County and wife of Norman Bojrab, Sr., died at 9:15 a. m. on Sunday, November 29, 2009, at her home.e Although she had been in failing health for some time, her death was unexpected. Mrs. Bojrab was born in Wilmington, Ohio on December 18, 1923, a daughter of Abraham and Wadia (Emrod) Budrey, and spent her formative years in that community.e She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1942, and latter attended beauty college in Dayton, Ohio. On June 6, 1948 she was married in Wilmington to Norman, Bojrab, Sr., and lived all of her adult life on the family farm in rural Allen County. Employed as a beautician, she was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women.e She loved her church, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and most especially her two grandsons.e She was a caring and loving mother and grandmother, and was a friend to many. The surviving relatives include her husband Norman Bojrab, Sr; two sons Norman Bojrab, Jr. and James A. (Bev) Bojrab, both of Fort Wayne; a sister Louise Budrey of Huntertown; and her two grandsons Ryan Bojrab and Ross Bojrab. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Mose Budrey and Isaac Budrey; and by a sister Helen Budrey. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p. m. Private family services will be held at the mortuary with Rev. Larry Smith, pastor of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Eel River Cemetery, Allen County.
