Mary Bojrab

Mary L. Bojrab, 93, of Fort Wayne, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Monday, June 27, 2022. Mary was born on June 7, 1929, in Fort Wayne, to the late Samuel and Libby (Slyby) Bojrab. She grew up on her parent's farm raising many different types of vegetables that were sold at the Barr Street Market and she graduated from Arcola High School in 1947. From 1947 to 1953 she worked for Allen County Abstract Company. She then began her career as an office manager, for Equitable Life Assurance, in Fort Wayne. She retired after 38 years of service. Mary was a member of Trinty United Methodist Church. She enjoyed volunteering in the church office. She was a member of the Christian Business & Professional Women. In her retirement she enjoyed caring for her family. Mary is survived by her brother, George W Bojrab; a niece, Jodi Bojrab; nephews, Michael (Sherry) Bojrab; James (Beverly) Bojrab, and Norman Bojrab, Jr.; several great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Bojrab, Sr.; a sister, Lucy Surber; sisters-in-law, Gloria Bojrab and Mary B. Bojrab; a brother-in-law Rev Herman Surber; a niece, Suzanne Surber; nephews, Steven Surber and Timothy Bojrab. Private graveside services will be held at Eel River Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
