Mary Klemm

Mary A. Klemm, 91, formerly of Churubusco, passed away on December 16, 2016 at 7:00 a.m., at Northern Lakes in Angola. She was born on November 13, 1925 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of John and Mary (Starost) Fletter. Mary spent her formative years in Fort Wayne and graduated from Fort Wayne Central High School in 1943. She moved to Churubusco in 1950, where she raised her two children. She retired from Dana Corp., Churubusco in 1989 after 25 years. Mary was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church and was active in the Rosary Society. She is survived by her son Lyle "Sammy" (Barbara) Klemm of Fort Wayne; her daughter Marianne (Doug) Bowers of Angola; her granddaughter, Heather Nelson; two grandsons Wes Taylor Nelson and Braden Nelson. In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by a brother John "Jack" Fletter. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday December 21, 2016, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Churubusco. The family will receive friends on Tuesday December 20, 2016 at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a rosary service, or one hour prior to the mass. Burial will be in the Orange Township Cemetery, Noble County Memorials may be directed to the Humane Shelter of your choice.
