Mary Parker

Mary L Parker, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away on February 16, 2021, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Born in Churubusco, on May 27, 1927, to the late Guy and Velma (Gaff) Herron, she spent her formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Churubusco High School in 1945. Mary was married to Edwin Parker in Churubusco, on September 7, 1946. She worked as an accounts payable clerk for Navistar. Mary is survived by her two sons, Steve (Nancy) Parker and Max (Carolyn) Parker; a sister, Joan Hyndman; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Peffer; four brothers, Arthur, Russell, Paul Alton, and Gene Herron. The family will have private services.
