Michele Bailey

Michele Bailey, 49, of Churubusco, passed away at 7:50 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. She was born on September 28, 1966 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of Larry and Jerri (Moss) Cooney. She spent her formative years in Minnesota, and moved back to Fort Wayne after graduation. She enjoyed art and would draw anything. Michele was a member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church, Churubusco. The surviving relatives include her significant other Harry Crance; her parents Larry & Jerilynn Cooney; her daughter, Torrie (Michael) Strong; her son, Justin Bailey; three brothers, Darren Gongaware, Gregory Gongaware, and Troy Gongaware; three sisters, Chrissy Gongaware, Andrea Gongaware, and Carrie (Donald) Bailey; her grandson, Everett Strong. She was preceded in death by her father Dean Gongaware. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, with Pastor Larry Smith, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday. For those who wish, memorials may be directed to family in C/O Harry.
