M. Louise Koomler,e 94, of Huntertown, passed away at 7:55 pm on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at in Fort Wayne. Ms. Koomler was born on April 26, 1918 in Pierceton, a daughter of James and Jennie (Quine) O'Connell. She spent her formative years in Pierceton, and graduated from Pierceton High School in 1936. She was employed at Byron Health Center, and retired in 1983. She also worked at General Electric before and during World War II. Ms. Koomler was a member of Huntertown United Methodist Church, Huntertown Home Extension Club. The surviving relatives include two daughters - Linda (Tom) Lamb, Cheryl Carter; son - David Koomler; three grandsons - David (Cindy) Lamb, Scot Lamb, and Drew (Ashley) Edmondson; two granddaughters - Lori (Mike) DuBose and Alexis Koomler; five great-granddaughters - Madilyn Elizabeth Lamb, Evelyn Louise Lamb, Eleanor Grace Lamb, Isabelle Jolie Lamb, Sylvia Emily DuBose; great-grandson - Noah Thomas Edmondson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her four brothers, Roy, Robert, Howard, and Loren O'Connell; three sisters, Dorothy McCoy, Ethel Miner, and Grace Neer; a grandson, Mark Thomas Edmondson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Pastor Greg Hiatt, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Monday. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton. ****************************************
