Nancy Badders, 68, of Huntertown, went home to Jesus at 6:08 am on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Badders was born on July 28, 1945 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of Frank and Jane (Wayer) Kahn. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne and Milwallke Wi., and graduated from Central Catholic, Fort Wayne in 1963. On July 6, 1963 she was married in Fort Wayne to Thomas Badders. She was employed at C & A Tool, and retired in 2008 after 12 years. She was also previously employed at Food Marketing for 12 years. Mrs. Badders was a member of St Gasper Catholic Church in Rome City. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The surviving relatives include her husband Thomas Badders of Huntertown; sons - Keith Charles Badders of Huntertown, Brad James (Wendy) Badders of Huntertown, Brian Thomas (Rachael) Badders of Huntertown; daughters - Kimberly Ann (John) Wilson of Fort Wayne, Beth Brenda Badders of Fort Wayne; brothers - Robert (Mary) Kahn, Frank (Bonnie) Kahn of Roanoke, James (Robin) Kahn of Roanoke; sisters - Francis(Richard) Dunno of Fort Wayne, Mary (Dan) Thiel of Garrett, Judith (David) Malinowski of Rome City, Patricia (Terry) Fosnaugh of Huntertown, Ilene (Steven) Pence of Fort Wayne, Deborah (Carl) Mosher of Wolcottville, Christine (Steve) Bacon of Avilla, Kathrine (Larry) Christman of Fort Wayne; . She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Gaspar Catholic Church, Rome City, with Rev. Bernard Ramenaden, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, or one hour prior to the service. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
