Norrita Hettinger

Norrita L. Hettinger, 56, of rural Churubusco, passed away on January 25, 2017 at her home. She was born on October 12, 1960 in Fort Wayne to Norris and Rita (Frazier) Comings. She spent her formative years in Perry Township and graduated from Carroll High School in 1978. Norrita was an active member at the Churubusco United Methodist Church. She served on the United Methodist Women as a treasurer and served the Ministry for Children, for Shut in's and In the Soup Kitchen. She liked "Her Spot" and would "go around the block to get going." Norrita is survived by a daughter, Melissa Hettinger of Churubusco; a son Brad Hettinger of Fort Wayne; granddaughters, Juliana and EmmaKay Hettinger both of Fort Wayne. She is preceded in death by her parents and an infant son LeRoy Hettinger, III. Visiting hours will take place at Churubusco United Methodist Church on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Services will begin at 1:00 p.m., at Churubusco United Methodist Church on Monday.
