Onda L. Williams, 78, of Columbia City, passed away on January 22, 2025, at Miller's at Oak Pointe.
She was born in Wolf Lake on August 17, 1946, to the late Gloyd and Edna (Fisher) Tulley. She spent her formative years in Smith Township, graduating from Churubusco High School in 1964. After graduating from Beauty School, she worked as a hairdresser. Onda then embarked on a fulfilling career in credit management, working at Indiana Association of Credit Management, until her retirement in Indianapolis.
Onda was married to Clair Williams in Churubusco on October 5, 1974. The couple lived in Churubusco and Fort Wayne, before moving to Greenfield. Clair preceded Onda in death on August 11, 2002. The couple had celebrated 28 years of love and laughter.
She was a devoted and loving mother to her children and a cherished sister. Known for her love of laughter and deep faith, Onda was often found with a Bible in her hand, finding comfort and joy in its passages.
Onda is survived by her children; Tammy (Justin) Thompson, Brian Williams, and Rodney (Letti) Williams; and her sisters, Connie Hull and Jan Hardacre; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her a son, Scott Allen Tulley; her brothers, Steve, Rick, and Jack Tulley.
A funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, with calling from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m.
Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery at a later date.
