Oweda Shelton

Oweda J. "Oddie" Shelton 79, Formerly of Churubusco died January 15, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was born August 14, 1938 in Natwan, WV to the late Carl and Lucinda (Estep) Brown. On January 14, 1956 she married Robert B. Shelton in Columbus, OH. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2006. She retired in 2003 from Bluffton Rubber Company as a press operator. She was a member of Cornerstone Wesleyan Church in Albion. She loved to read and loved going to church. Survivors include three sons Ben (Scharon) Jr. of Fort Wayne; Carl P. of Bluffton and Nicholas J. Shelton of Fort Wayne, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren, two brothers Richard of Fort Wayne and Darren (Debra) Brown of Churubusco, two sisters Gail Breeden of Fort Wayne and Diann Reynolds of FL. She was preceded in death by one brother and six sisters. Celebration of life services will be 1:00pm Saturday January 27, 2018 at Cornerstone Wesleyan Church 4304 S. Oak St. Albion, IN 46701.
