September 3, 1958 - July 29, 2026
Pamela D. James, 67, of Huntertown, passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Born September 3, 1958, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Bay and Nancy Anderson. Pam was later blessed with Pastor Thom Anderson as her loving stepfather. Pam graduated from Northside High School in 1976.
On January 24, 1987, Pamela was united in marriage to Jeff L. James in Fort Wayne. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love.
Pam devoted her life to creating a warm and welcoming home. She poured her creativity and talent into growing magnificent gardens with breathtaking displays of flowers that are worthy of a home and garden magazine. She loved shopping for her grandchildren and great‑grandchildren and had a special talent for choosing the perfect outfit for any occasion. She cherished and spoiled her Sheltie Sheepdogs. Pam had a special gift for comforting those who were hurting. She would pray with and for all of her loved ones. She will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her zest for life, and most importantly, her unwavering faith love for the Lord.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jeff L. James; sons Aaron James and Justin Tame; Bree (William) Praul, whom she loved as a daughter; grandchildren Branson (Morgan) Heidenreich, Kayla (Laurence "Logan" Feiler V) Heidenreich, Aydan and Megan O'Brien, Davallen McHenrey, and Alexander James; great‑grandchildren Lee and Henry Heidenreich, Laurence "Holden" Feiler VI, and Adelynn Feiler; sister Patti (Don) Easterday; brothers Jeff (Katia) Bay and James (Beth) Bay; and stepfather Thom Anderson.
