Patricia Musice

Patricia J. "Trish" Musice, 45 a resident of Fort Wayne, passed away with her family by her side at 12:36 a.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, after collapsing unexpectedly on Friday afternoon. Trish was born in Fort Wayne on July 5, 1971, a daughter of William and Frances (Georges) McCormick, and was a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne. She graduated from Northside High School in 1988, attended the Boyd Travel School in Pittsburg, and graduated as a medical assistant from Brown Macke College in Fort Wayne. Employed as a medical assistant for most of her adult life, she had worked as a group home health aid for Fresh New Start for over two years. Her husband Guy Musice preceded her in death on August 3, 2014. The surviving relatives include her three children Michael C. Butler, Jr., Amber Buuck, and Anthony "Tony" Musice, all of Fort Wayne; her mother Frances McCormick of Fort Wayne; a sister Carole Anne (Juno) Richerson of Decatur; a brother Michael W. McCormick of Indianapolis; and her two granddaughters Joscelyn Butler and Delilah Butler. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco with Rev. Corinne Boruff-Stucker, pastor of Churubusco United Methodist Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service.
