Paul Merrill

Paul W. "Buddy" Merrill, 64, of Churubusco, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019, at his residence. He was born October 31, 1954, in Fort Wayne, to the late Paul and Jennie (Potter) Merrill. He graduated from Churubusco High School in 1974. He married Becky Hardstey on February 14, 1975, in Fort Wayne. Paul worked in the warehouse at Supply Technologies in Fort Wayne. He was also a member of the American Legion and attended Churubusco United Methodist Church. Surviving relatives include his wife, Becky; two sons, Shane (Heather) of Fort Wayne and Josh (Ashley) Merrill of Garrett; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia "Tishi" Merrill of Fort Recovery, OH and Mary (Keith) Schultz of Churubusco. He is preceded in death by one brother, Matthew Merrill. Visitation will be Friday, May 10, 2019, from 4:00 p.m., to 6:00 p.m., at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Churubusco, IN. Celebration of life service will be held Friday following the visitation at 6:00 p.m. Memorials to Donors Choice.
