Paul Reed

Paul Eugene Reed, 75, of Avilla, passed away on February 20, 2019, at his residence. Born in Huntington, IN, on August 7, 1943, to James and Ethel (Cunningham) Reed. He graduated from Huntington High School in 1964. Paul married Junine Gibson in Fort Wayne on October 14, 1967. He worked as a lathe operator at JB Tool and Die in Fort Wayne for over 30 years. Paul is survived by a daughter, Amy (Doug) Lawson of Churubusco; a son, John (Kathy) Reed of Churubusco; four grandchildren, Parker Reed, Jessie Lawson, Samuel Lawson and Grace Lawson; a brother, James (Mary) Reed of Geneva, IN; a sister, Nancy (Thomas) Stricker of Van Wert, OH. He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Junine Evelyn Reed on September 1, 2012; infant son Zachary Reed. Graveside Services will be Friday, February 22, 2019, 2:00 PM at Cedar Creek Cemetery on the corner of County Road 68 and County Road 11A in Garrett, IN. Officiating will be Pastor Thomas Stricker.
