Pauline Richardson

Pauline Richardson, 69, of Fort Wayne, passed away at 11:18 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016 at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. Mrs. Richardson was born on December 28, 1946 in Matewan, West Virginia, a daughter of Taylor and Eva (Dorton) Napier. She spent her formative years in Aflex, Kentucky, and graduated from Belfry High School in 1964. On March 16, 1968 she was married in Williamson, West Virginia to Larry Richardson, and moved from Belfry to Fort Wayne where she had lived for 46 years. She was employed at Parkview, and retired after 41 years of service. Pauline loved her family especially her grandchildren. The surviving relatives include her husband of 47 years; a daughter, Kay (Brian) Landwehr of Churubusco; a son, Larry (Paula) Richardson of Churubusco; two sisters, Delores Helton and Lorraine (Larry) Wood; three granddaughters Shelby, Malina, and Haley; three grandsons, Larry, Cody, and Levi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Maxine, Linda, and Aline. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Pastor Lane Burgland, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, or one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
