Peggy Earnhart

Peggy Earnhart, 87, of Albion, passed away on June 7, 2024 at Ascension Sacred Heart Village in Avilla. She was born on April 28, 1937, in Albion, to the late Donald and Mable Malee (Engle) Halferty. A lifelong resident of Albion, Peggy was a proud graduate of Albion High School, class of 1955, and married the love of her life, Dean Earnhart, on August 25, 1956. Peggy devoted her life to creating a warm and loving home for her family and friends. She was a skilled homemaker, always finding joy in cooking, baking pies and cookies, and working in her flower garden. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Halferty and Mable Malee, her beloved husband Dean, and her siblings Ken Halferty, Edward Halferty, and Doris McCoy. She is survived by her sons, Kyle and Kevin Earnhart. At Peggy's request there will not be any services. Burial will take place at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam. Memorials may be directed to the Whitley County Humane Shelter. Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
