Philip Campbell Dunn, 76, of Albion, passed away on April 28, 2019, at Parkview Noble Hospital. Born in Auburn, on July 12, 1942, to the late Charles "Ring" and Dorothy (Goodwin) Dunn. He spent his formative years in Waterloo, graduating from Waterloo High School in 1960. After high school, he attended and graduated from Purdue University in 1964. Philip was married to Sandra (Harlan) Jackson in Green Center, on September 3, 1988. He retired from Raytheon in Fort Wayne after 35 years as an electrical engineer. He was an honorary member of the Tal Beta Pi Engineering Fraternity. He was also a member of the Green Center United Methodist Church. In Philip's free time he enjoyed being a ham radio operator with the call sign K9AIN. He also was an instrument rated pilot, a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed woodworking, Philip is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sandra Dunn; two step-children, Chris Jackson and Cathy (John) Petrie; his sister, Sarah (Dan Pulen) Shuherk; grandchildren, Cassandra (Ben Jehl) Petrie and Jay (Courtney Farrell) Petrie; neices, Emily (Jeff) Meck, Rachel (Tony) Lewellen; great-nephew, Andrew Meck and great-neice, Agatha Lewellen. Services will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Friday, May 3, 2019, at 11:00 AM., with Pastor David Harrold officiating. Calling one hour prior to the service. Family will also receive friends on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at the funeral home from 2:00 PM, until 8:00 PM.
