Randy Lee Bonar, 63, of Churubusco, passed away on February 22, 2024.
He was born on February 6, 1961, in Columbia City, to Lee and Carolyn (Shoda) Bonar. He spent his formative years in Green Center and graduated from Churubusco High School in 1980.
Known for his zest for life, Randy spent his days passionately working in small engine repair at Precision Sharpening and Proline. Not just limited to his job, Randy's love for working with his hands extended to his hobbies as well; he relished in helping his parents farm, doing yard work, and his peculiar fondness for John Deere and squirrel hunting. These activities brought him immense joy, as did his time spent on Blue Lake and his travels. However, what mattered most to Randy was the joy of being a Pawpaw. His heart swelled with pride and affection for his granddaughters, Blakelee and Emerie Bonar.
Randy is survived by his beloved son, Nicholas (Tiffanie) Bonar; his devoted parents, Lee and Carolyn Bonar; his sisters, Rhonda (Darrin) Parker and Renee (Michael) Knapp; and his granddaughters, Blakelee and Emerie Bonar.
