Raymond Boland

Raymond Boland, 83, of Columbia City, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020, at Miller's Merry Manor in Columbia City. Born in Fort Wayne, on March 7, 1937, to the late Roy and Anna (Bauermeister) Boland. Raymond served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1979. After he retired from the Navy he worked as a security guard at CK Products. He enjoyed his dogs, eating and was a social bug. He also liked to watch "crime" T.V. Raymond is survived by many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Floyd Boland. Graveside services with military honors will take place at Eel River Cemetery, on June 20, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. A viewing will be held at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, on Friday, June 19, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to Whitley County Humane Shelter.
