Rebecca "Becki" Mathieu

Rebecca "Becki" S. Mathieu, 73, of Churubusco, passed away on November 19, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was born in Fort Wayne on January 29, 1949, to the late William and Catherine (Beerman) Avery. She spent her formative years in Churubusco and graduated from Churubusco High School. Becki was married to Charles "Chuck" Mathieu in Churubusco on December 10, 1966. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2020, after 53 years of marriage. She was a member of the St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Becki is survived her three sons, Joseph (Mary) Mathieu, Chris (Jude) Mathieu and Aaron (Maritza) Mathieu; her two daughters, Lacey (Jamie) Hudgens and Danielle (Justin) Bischoff; her brother, Kevin Avery; ten grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Avery. At Becki's request, there will be no services. Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
