Rebecca Ann "Becky" McGuire, 75, of Churubusco, passed away on February 6, 2022, at her residence after a courageous eleven-month battle against colon cancer. She was born at Lucky hospital, Wolf Lake, IN, on April 26, 1946, to the late James W. and Gene Ellen (McCoy) Freeman. She graduated from Albion-Jefferson High School in 1964 and International Business College, Fort Wayne in 1966. On June 1, 1968, she married Ray D. McGuire in Kimmell, IN, and they currently live in Eel River Twp. She loved her family members, loved going to her grandchildren's events, and especially loved her Lord Jesus. Becky enjoyed two-step dancing, camping, sewing, quilting, singing, and church activities. Becky was employed by Indiana Michigan Power from 1966-1971 as an executive secretary. Later she worked for Northwest Allen County Schools in administrative positions, from 1981-2008. Becky is survived by her husband, Ray D. McGuire; two sons, Bradley R. (Rachael) and Paul A. (Amy) McGuire; eight grandchildren, Hannah, Benjamin (Taylor), Lauren, Grace (Jeremy Too), Abigail, Lindsay, Joseph, and Luke; her sister, Debby (Gary) Archer; three brothers, Jim R., Tom R. and Melvin L. Freeman; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be from 3-5 & 6-8, on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home 16830 Lima Road Huntertown, IN 46748, with calling one hour prior to service at the church. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Headwater's Church, 2000 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne, IN 46808. Burial will be at Eel River Cemetery.
