Regina Mary Frazier, 89, a resident of rural Fort Wayne and wife of prominent Lake Township farmer George W. Frazier, passed away at 10:03 a. m. on Friday, December 2, 2011, at her home following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Frazier was born in Green Township in Noble County on December 1, 1922, a daughter of Joseph and Anna (Molargik) Konger, and spent her formative years in Noble County.e As a young woman she worked for the Hutner family in Fort Wayne, and was later employed and General Electric during World War II. On April 22, 1944 she was married at Ege to George W. Frazier of rural Allen County.e She and her husband lived all of their married lives on the Frazier family farm in Lake Township.e An accomplished homemaker, she always shared her grace of hospitality, was an avid gardener, and was a cherry pie "specialist." She was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Churubusco, its Rosary Society, and had also served as the chairperson of the church's social committee.e In addition to her church activities, she had been a member of the Allen County Porkettes. The surviving relatives include her husband George W. Frazier, to whom she was married for over 67 years; her children Lee (Lynne) Frazier of Fort Wayne, Rita (John) Griffith of Churubusco, Tom (Debbie) Frazier of Fort Wayne, Patricia (Charles) Martin of Kenosha, Wis., and Laureen Watt of Fort Wayne; two sisters Laura (Charles) Nicodemus of Indianapolis and Wanda (Jack) Walcutt of Huntertown; three brothers Robert (Barbara) Konger of Winterhaven, Fla., Bernard (Margaret) Konger and Raymond (Mary Ann) Konger, both of Fort Wayne; two sisters-in-law Rosemary "Rosie" Konger of Churubusco and Mary Ann Konger of Tarpon Springs, Fla; 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers Lawrence Konger, James Konger, Anthony "Tony" Konger, and Donald Konger; and two sons-in-law Larry Sible and Jeff Watt. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a. m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Churubusco with Father Danney Pinto, the celebrant. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 8 p. m., and one hour prior to the funeral mass Tuesday morning at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery, south of Churubusco. For those who wish, memorials may be directed to the Regina M. Frazier Memorial Fund c/o George W.
