Rick Lemish

Rick A. Lemish, 57, of Albion, passed away at 11:00 a.m. on March 15, 2017 at his home. Born on May 31, 1959 in Columbia City, a son of Richard and Peggy (Leazier) Lemish, he spent his formative years in Churubusco and graduated from Churubusco High School in 1977. He later received an associate's degree from Ivy Tech. He was married on November 11, 2012 in Albion to Pamela Hawn. Rick enjoyed coaching little league in the Busco Park. He like to play softball, horse shoes and bowling. He enjoyed traveling and watching racing andracing street stocks in Avilla and Bear Field. Rick is survived by his wife, Pamela Lemish of Albion; his mother, Peggy Lemish of Churubusco; two sons, Jacob (Cara) Lemish of Fort Wayne and Alex (Ashlee) Lemish of Albion; a daughter; Amanda Teague of Fort Wayne; a brother, Blake (Susan) Lemish of Albion; five grandchildren, Emma, Ryan, Sophee, Alayna, and Avery. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Lemish and infant son Jon Henry. Visiting hours will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM., with a rosary service at 7:00 pm. Calling also one hour prior to the service. Services will begin at 11:00 AM, at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Monday, March 20, 2017. Burial will be in the Ege Catholic Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations to in Rick's name to the St. John Bosco Catholic Church Food Pantry.
