Ricki Tulley

Rick Tulley, 60, a resident of Tri-Lakes, passed away at 6:20 p. m. on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He had been in failing health for the past two years. Mr. Tulley was born in Wolf Lake on September 19, 1952, a son of Gloyd and Edna (Fisher) Tulley. He spent all of his formative years in Smith Township and graduated from Churubusco High School in 1970. He was employed at National Serv All in Fort Wayne for eight years, retiring in 2012 due to ill health. A member of the Tri Lakes Baptist Church, he enjoyed camping and comedy including Bob & Tom, and Red Green. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan, but most importantly loved and cherished his family. On April 23, 1995 he was married in Whitley County to Cathy Burns. She survives. Also surviving are three children Michael (Ciera) Tulley of Columbia City and twins Desarie and Haley Tulley, both at home; a brother Steve (Linda) Tulley of Montpelier, Oh; three sisters Onda Williams and Jan Hardacre, both of Columbia City, and Connie Hull of Erwin, Tenn; and a granddaughter Addison Tulley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Jack Tulley in 2000. Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco with Rev. Brad Fredrickson, pastor of Tri Lakes Baptist Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p. m. Burial will be in the South Park Cemetery Annex, Columbia Township.
