Robert James Boruff, 54, of Churubusco, passed away at 8:18 pm on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at his home in Churubusco. Mr. Boruff was born on October 7, 1960 in Bloomington, a son of Robert and Jane (Thomas) Boruff. He spent his formative years in Grand Blanc, MI, and graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1978. After high school he served in the United States Navy. The surviving relatives include son, Jason (Angie Newcom) Boruff of Churubusco; two sisters, Cheryl (Edward) Gray of Grand Lake, MI and Julie Canaday of Burton, MI; two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Jane (Thomas) Boruff Graveside services with Military Rites will be held at a later date.
