Robert Brown

Robert Rockford Brown, 49, of Columbia City, known affectionately as Bob, passed away at home on February 15, 2025. He was born in Fort Wayne on February 18, 1975, to the late Alvin "Rocky" and Patty Brown. He spent his formative years in Allen County and graduated from Carroll High School. Bob was a man who enjoyed working with his hands, most notably building his prized 1984 Cutlass with a big block motor that would shake your walls and everything on them. He also cherished traveling with his fiancé, Dylan, and Emily, especially to Tennessee, with Gatlinburg being a favorite destination. Robert is survived by his fiancé, Danielle Johnson; his son, Dylan Brown; Danielle's daughters, Ashley Johnson, Courtney (Jordan) Andrews, and Emily Johnson; his sister, Stephanie (John) Linnemeier; his brother, Michael Brown; his stepsister, Jody (Lenny) Schlotter; his stepbrothers, Chad (Kahler) Falls and Pat (Amy) Falls. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, James Brown. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Pleasant Chapel Community Church located at 880 East 1100 North, Roanoke, Indiana, 46783, with calling beginning at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be directed to Pleasant Chapel Community Church.
