Robert Malott

Robert Malott, 64, of Churubusco, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, at his home. He was born in Fort Wayne on October 7, 1960, to the late Jack and Phyllis (Albert) Malott. He spent his formative years in Allen County and graduated from New Haven High School. Robert spent his life in the Hoosier state, devoting his career to the construction industry, where he specialized in homebuilding. He was a passionate hunter and fisherman. Robert relished the tranquility of nature and the thrill of the chase, often sharing stories of his expeditions with friends and family. In his younger years, Robert enjoyed bowling, a pastime he frequently shared with his family. Robert is survived by his daughter, Amy (Shane) Hinkley; his siblings, Sue (Harold) Caldwell, Linda Robles, Rick Malott, Tim (Pam) Malott, and David (Ronda) Malott; and six grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Jr. There will not be any services at this time. Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
