Robert A Winters

Robert A. "Bob" Winters, 61, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026, at his home.

Born in Fort Wayne on March 18, 1965, Bob was the son of the late David W. and Marlene (Welch) Winters. He graduated from Northrop High School in 1983 and dedicated much of his career to construction, where his strong work ethic and reliability earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike.

Bob had a lifelong love of the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Some of his fondest memories were ice fishing with his dad at Shakamac Lake, moments he cherished deeply.

He is survived by two sisters, Pam (Chris) Cole and Christy (Barry) Hand; three nieces, Jenny (Gabe) Johnson, Shannon Cole, and Becca (Chris) Rearck; two nephews, David Cole and Mark (Robin) Purden; two great-nieces, Naomi and Maren Johnson; and a companion to his father, Doris Ott.

A private family service will be held at a later date to honor Bob’s life and memory.
