Rodney Ehinger

Rodney Lee Ehinger, 52, of Churubusco, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at his son's home. He was born in Fort Wayne on December 26, 1970, to Bradley and Ina Ehinger. He spent his formative years in Churubusco. Rodney met his wife, Sheila Addis, while in school and was married to her in July of 1995. She preceded him in death on November 28, 2021. Rodney enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and especially playing poker. Rodney is survived by his son, Drey Ehinger; his mother, Ina Smith; two brothers, Bradley (Vicki) Ehinger and Shannon Ehinger; a sister, Cindy Ehinger; two grandchildren, Kiera and Andrew. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his father and his son, Brandon Lee Ehinger, in June of 2020. A funeral service will be held at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. with calling beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be directed to the Family in C/O Sheets & Childs Funeral Home.
