Roger Kostielney

Roger Joseph Kostielney, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away April 19, 2017 at Community Hospital North. Born in Indianapolis on November 19, 1941, he was the son of the late Anthony and Helen (Bianski) Kostielney, he spent his formative years in Indianapolis and graduated from Scecina High School in 1959. After high school he served in the United States and Force. Roger retired from Chrysler in 1997 after more than 31 years. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Moose Lodge #17 and the Fatima Knights of Columbus. Roger is survived by his sisters, Jane Kenipe and Karen Brennan; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Bill Kenipe Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 22 at Oakley-Hammond Funeral Home, 5342 E. Washington Street. Visitation also on Monday April 24, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, 206 North Main Street Churubusco, Indiana 46723 with the Funeral Mass will being held at 2 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ege, Father Francis. Burial will be in the Ege Catholic Cemetery.
