Sandra L. Royal, 68, of Columbia City, passed away on May 16, 2026, at Ashton Creek in Fort Wayne, IN.

She was born in Fort Wayne, IN, on January 23, 1958, to Melvin E. and Bonnie (Niedermeyer) Royal. She graduated from Columbia City High School in 1977.

She worked at the deli at Wal-Mart in Columbia City for 10 years.

Sandra is survived by her mother, Bonnie Royal; two sisters, Diane and Debra Royal; and her brother, Steven Royal.

She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin E. Royal.

Calling will take place at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
