Sharon Roberson

Sharon A. Roberson,74, of Churubusco, passed away at her home on August 6, 2017. Born in Greenville, Ohio on July 26, 1943, she was a daughter of Clarence and Orpha (Murphy) Barron. She spent her formative years in Ohio and graduated from Mississinewa Valley High School. She was married on September 7, 2001 to Leslie D. Roberson MSgT USAF retired at the First Eel River Baptist Church in Churubusco. Sharon was a past Grand Master of the Indiana I.O.O.F and a past President of the Rebecca's Assembly of Indiana I.O.O.F. (Odd Fellows) She loved making quilts for her great grandchildren, reading, being pampered, spending time with her sister and she had a deep profound belief in Jesus Christ. Sharon is survived by her husband, Les Roberson; a daughter Teri (Gil) Ortiz; a sister Doris (Anthony) Cripe; granddaughters, Jessica (Jonathan) Bender and Megan (Captain RIANG Jason) Sauer; great grandchildren, Grace, Quinton, Carson and Eli; step sons, Roy and Ben (Stacie) Roberson; grandchildren, Brook, Austin, Caleigh, Rozi and Jessi. She is preceded in death by parents. Visiting hours will take place at Wilson Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St. Churubusco, on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:45 p.m. Odd Fellows service will begin at 6:45 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 7:00 on Thursday, August 10, 2017.
