Shayne Lefever

Shayne Nicole LeFever, 39, a resident of Churubusco, passed away at 2:19 p. m. on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. She had been taken there earlier in the day after collapsing unexpectedly at her home. Ms. LeFever was born on August 17, 1974 in Columbia City, and was a lifelong resident of Churubusco. As a young woman she had been employed at BRC in Churubusco, had worked at Al's 33 Club, and also worked as a bartender at the Lucky Lady in Churubusco. The surviving relatives include her mother Kathy D. LeFever of Churubusco; her father Alvin Mullins of Saylersville, Kentucky; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her only brother Dustn LeFever on April 25, 1995. Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. on Thursday at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco with Rev. Lane Burgland, pastor of Faith Lutheran Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 to 8 p. m., or one hour prior to the service Thursday morning. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, the family asks the memorials be directed to defray funeral expenses. ******************************************
