Stanley Ward

Stanley R. Ward, 63, of LaOtto, passed away on May 2, 2021, in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia. Born in Garrett, KY, on November 23, 1957, to the late John and Girlie (Hicks) Ward, Jr. He spent his formative years in Noble County, graduating from East Noble High School in 1977. Stan was married to Jody Bianski in Ege, on August 26, 1978. He worked at C&A Tool in Churubusco for the last 11 years. He also worked for Dana for 22 years. He loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed attending any of his grandchildren's events. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and just an outdoors man. Stan is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jody Ward; his daughter, Abby (Michael) Richards; two sons, Jason (Joelle) Ward and Cody (Tabitha) Ward; three brothers, Wayne Ward, John Ward and David (Jane) Ward; five grandchildren, Gabe, Drake, Brogan, Maddie and Waylon. The family will receive friends at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to Churubusco Youth League or Indiana Hunter Education.
