Stephen Trahin

Stephen Lynn Trahin, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on December 12, 2020, at Lutheran Health Hospital. Born in Allen County, IN, on March 26, 1946, to the late Francis and Mary (Kniss) Trahin. He spent his formative years in Arcola, graduating from Northside High School in 1964. In 1965, he enlisted in the U.S Army and spent two years in Vietnam. He served until 1971. Stephen married Beverly McGraw in Fort Wayne, on January 1, 1966. He was a member of Saint Patrick's Catholic Church in Arcola. Stephen was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, an Arcola volunteer fireman and EMT. He loved fishing, gardening and playing euchre with the family. He worked for General Electric in the wire mill for 35 years, retiring in 2003. Stephen is survived by his wife, Beverly Trahin; three daughters, Tammi Thompson, Mitzi (Jon) Brumbaugh and Jackie Trahin; one son, Tony (Tricia) Trahin; five grandchildren, Rachel, Natalie, Jake, Camille and Earl Lee; one sister, Mareta Nestel. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Trahin and a sister, Marilyn Willett. Memorial Services will take place at St. Patrick's Church of Arcola on March 27, 2021.
