Tamara "Tami" Geiger

Tami D. Geiger, 54, of Churubusco, passed away on September 13, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. She was born in Columbia City, on December 13, 1966, to the Ausburn "Henry" and Peggy (LeFever) Thompson. She spent her formative years in the Blue Lake area and attended Churubusco High School. Tami was married to Brian Geiger in Columbia City, on May 20, 2006. For the last 30 years she has worked in the janitorial industry. She had been a long time employee of A to Z Cleaning in Garrett. Tami was most at home riding on the back of a motorcycle. She enjoyed gardening and her fur babies. She was the neighborhood "mom" and would take in all the "strays". More than anything she treasured her grandchildren. Tami is survived by her husband of 16 years, Brian Geiger; her mother, Peggy Thompson; her five children, Star (Josh) Watson, Josh Bade, Autum (Tyler Morrow) Geiger, Natalia (Corbin) Breeden and Cody Bade; two brothers, Doug Thompson and Ralph (Sue) Thompson; ten grandchildren, Jerry, Alexandria, Jessalyn, Silas, Willow, Mavrick, Levi, Elijah, Noah and Raylee; a great-granddaughter, Arden. She was preceded in death by her father, Ausburn "Henry" Thompson; a brother, Jeffrey Thompson and an infant brother, John. Memorial Services will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel on September 18, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. with calling begining at 10:00 a.m. Memorials to Whitley County Humane Shelter.
