Terry Herendeen

Terry Eugene Herendeen, 59, of Albion, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023, at his home. He was born in Whitley County, on April 16, 1963, to the late Max and Marilyn (Geiger) Herendeen. He spent his formative years in Churubusco and graduated from Churubusco High School. He had been working for St. James Construction. Terry was an Auxiliary member of the Churubusco American Legion Post and the VFW. He enjoyed golf, bowling, music, and fishing in his free time. He also enjoyed coaching baseball when his sons were young and spending time with his grandchildren. Terry is survived by his two sons, Justin Herendeen and Wes (Hilary) Herendeen; two sisters, Teresa (Mike) Fox and Mary Lou (Bill) Vaught; a brother, Max (Sandra) Herendeen; two grandchildren, Charlotte and Jack. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Tommy Fulk. A funeral service will be held at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., with calling beginning at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Churubusco American Legion Post #157. Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
