As a member of Sugar Grove Church of God, Thomas was deeply committed to his faith and his community. His passion for teaching and mentoring young people was evident in his roles as past Cub Master of the Churubusco Cub Scouts and current Scout Master of the Busco Boy Scouts. Tom was actively involved in the church's Youth Group and Bible Quizzing teams. Tom recently joined the church Mission Teams as he was always eager to make a difference in the lives of others. But what mattered most to Thomas was being a father. His love for his children was immeasurable, and he took great pride in nurturing and guiding them.
