Timmy Zeigler

Timmy Zeigler, 57, of rural Churubusco, passed away at 3:33 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at his home. Born on May 12, 1960 in Columbia City. Timmy was the only son of Allen and Marilyn "Jeanie" Zeigler. He spent his formative years on the family farm and graduated from Churubusco High School in 1979. He worked at Smith - Green Community Schools for 28 1/2 years. Timmy enjoyed tractor pulls and even pulled his own tractors. He enjoyed going to the Whitley County 4-H fair to support his nieces and nephews. Timmy is survived by his parents, Allen and Jeanie Zeigler of Churubusco; three sisters, Vickie (Roger) Hadley II of Woodburn, Pamela (Jerry) Ott of Churubusco and Brenda (Steve) Cormany of Columbia City; two nieces and five nephews. Visiting hours will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Calling also one hour prior to the service at the church. Services will begin at 10:00 AM, at Sugar Grove Church of God on Friday, December 22, 2017, Rev. Timothy Grable, officiating. Burial will follow at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
