Timothy Knepple, 25, of Fort Wayne, passed away on May 18, 2026.
He was born on May 4, 2001, in Fort Wayne. Timothy was a much-loved son to Ken and Alissa Knepple, a cherished brother to Devan, a grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Tim was a graduate of Churubusco High School, Class of 2020, where he made many treasured friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, often including deep discussions about life. He had a passion for collecting Pokémon cards and liked Harry Potter books and movies. He enjoyed podcasts and the world of anime, and he liked playing online games with friends and family. Tim was an avid athlete, especially in basketball and golf, where his competitive spirit and fun personality were evident.
A man of deep faith, Tim inspired many through his unwavering belief in God and the kindness and selflessness he showed to others each day. Many of his friends expressed what one friend shared: "Tim inspired me by his faith." That faith served as a guiding light throughout his life and was evident in his care for those around him. If he didn't have the knowledge or answers, he made sure to find someone who did.
Following high school, Timothy pursued a career as an electrician and furthered his education at EBC Trade School. He was dedicated to his work and took pride in serving others through his trade.
Timothy is survived by his parents, Ken and Alissa Knepple; his brother, Devan Knepple; his maternal grandmother, Vicki Graft; his paternal grandmother, Barbara Knepple; his uncle, Brandon Graft; five aunts: Jami (PJ) Steffen, Kelli (Christopher) Moran, Kendall (Tyler) Hoffman, Kristina Ihrie, and Kary (Josh) Smith; and 18 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Denny Knepple and James Graft, and his uncle, Aaron Graft.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Southwest Lutheran Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
