Tracy Lianne Krider, 66, of rural Churubusco, passed away peacefully with her children at her side on December 15, 2025.
She was born June 8, 1959, in Lafayette, to the late Robert (Max) and Noreeta (Herr) Pearson. She spent her formative years in Allen County and graduated from Churubusco High School.
Tracy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who dedicated her life to nurturing those around her. Married on April 6, 1979, to the late Allan "Wayne" Krider, Tracy was a pillar of strength and unconditional love for her family. She spent 15 years as an aide in the Smith-Green school system, first in the elementary school and then in the high school special needs class. Tracy's vibrancy will be remembered through the beautiful flowers she tirelessly cared for in her garden and the memories she crafted with her adored grandchildren. Beyond her love for family, Tracy carried a passion for music and literature, often sharing her favorite songs and books with those around her. Her impeccably maintained appearance was a testament to her attention to detail and her commitment to putting her best foot forward in all she did.
Tracy's unyielding presence will be deeply missed by her family.
She is survived by her children, Nicole Huston and Jarrod (Crista) Krider; her grandchildren, Jack Huston, Ava Huston, Holyn Krider, and Hayden Krider. She also leaves behind her siblings, Doug (Beth) Pearson, David (Stephanie Meyers) Pearson, Glenn (Paula) Pearson, and Kris (Garry) Oliver.
At Tracy's request, no services are planned at this time. In honor of her love of warm weather and sunshine, a gathering will be scheduled for Spring/Summer 2026, with details to be announced.
Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
