Virginia Andreas

Virginia B. (Andrews) Andreas, 86, of Columbia City, passed on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Bright Star Senior Living in Fort Wayne. Born on October 1, 1934, in Jackson Township, Michigan, to the late Carl A. and Alice R. (Reiniche) Andrews. She graduated from Pittsford High School, in Michigan, in 1952. She married Albert E. Andreas on April 21, 1955. Virginia worked at Dana Weatherhead from 1972-1989. She then worked as an administrative secretary at Northeastern REMC, Columbia City from 1989 till she retired in 1996. Virginia was a member of St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church in Columbia City and a member of Tri-Kappa for over 45 years. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Albert E. Andreas; four sons, Thomas (LeAnna) Andreas, Christopher B. (Vicki) Andreas, Albert (Lisa) Andreas, and William C. Andreas; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters. She is preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Andreas, and five brothers. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 315 South Line Street, Columbia City, with calling two hours prior at the church.
