Virginia Jackson

Virginia P Jackson, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Fort Wayne, on October 20, 1923, to Roy and Erin (Wright) Peters. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne. Virginia was married to Larry Jackson in Churubusco, on June 13, 1964. She retired from Dana Corp. in 1977 after 15 years. She enjoyed reading. In her youth she enjoyed traveling and bowling. Virginia is survived by her husband of 54 years, Larry Jackson; a daughter, Marilyn Cramer; a brother, Roy Peter; a sister, Beverly McBride; four grandchildren, Matthew (Amy) Boggs, Melissa (Carl) Voltz, Tracie Wicker and Michael Cramer; 10 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Green; two sisters, Opal Conkling and Betty Peters; a brother, Earl Peters; and a great grandson, David Boggs. Services will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at 11:00 AM. With calling one hour prior to the service. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Burial will take place at Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco.
