Vivian Fidler

Vivian Louise Fidler, age 89, a resident of rural Churubusco, Indiana for the last 28 years, died Saturday January 1, 2011 in the Kingston Care Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana following an extended illness. She had worked at the Vesey's Flower Shop in Fort Wayne for over 30 years. Vivian was born December 20, 1921 in Conneaut, Ohioe a daughter of the late Albert Burr and Mary Elizabeth (Connell) Bruner. She was united in marriage to Theo "Jack" Fidler, he preceded her in death in 2000. She was a former member of the Rome City Order of the Eastern Star # 595, and loved flower gardening and traveling. Her survivors include her daughter Jacklyn L. Norris of Churubusco, a son Robert (Billie Jean) Fidler of Grove,e Oklahoma, a brother Melvin (Carolyn) Bruner of Cromwell, Indiana and grandchildren Lori (Lyle) Miller, Debrah Snare, Christopher Norris, Melissa (Matt) Harnish, Scott (Angie) Fidler; Robert Fidler, Angie (Kevin) Schuyler, Rhonda (Mike) McHenry, and Nila Norris. and 18 great=grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Spouse, 2 sisters and 1 brother Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Thursday January 6, 2011 in the Sheets and Childs Funeral Home with Pastor Corinne K. Boruff officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
